Gentle yoga with Dawn upstairs in the Kauri Community Centre function room requires no previous experience and involves easy to do movements, gentle stretching, breathing practices, meditation, mindfulness and relaxation. Sometimes we use chairs but most often it’s gentle stretching and sequences either standing or lying on the mat for comfort.

Gentle does not mean that these sessions aren't packed with powerful movements aimed to bring harmony and balance to your energy centres and nervous system, ease into your physical bodies and stillness for your mind.

A regular practice of Dru Yoga and Meditation is designed to assist you to feel a sense of comfort and ease on all of your layers of being.

Many people come to these sessions carrying tension or stress and often comment when leaving that they are floating out the door. Dru specifically works to relax both you and your nervous system and I'm hoping that this will be your experience too!

It is essential for you to book, but that’s as simple as sending me a text message on 0438 824 573 or email alwaysyouyoga@gmail.com on the day to advise that you are coming.

You’ll need a mat, cushion, warm comfy clothes and socks in winter, some water and a blanket to cover you for relaxation.

Please do arrive before 6.30pm to enable us to start on time. If you are new to this class a registration form will be provided to capture your details and always keep me informed if your health or physical abilities have changed.

Suitable for all fitness levels and abilities, Dru Yoga moves participants through this graceful form of yoga based on soft flowing movements, directed breathing and visualisation. Dru Yoga works on body, mind and spirit and may assist participants to improve strength, flexibility, and core stability all while deeply relaxing and rejuvenating their whole being. This gentle session will aim to support you to find your own level of comfort and strength within sequences and postures.

This easy to do yoga session supports you with soft flowing movements, comfortable stretches and strengthening postures all designed to bring ease into tight muscles and the supportive structure of the spine.

Uplifting for your energy, yet calming for your mind and body, please arrive within 10 mins of the start time to ensure you are ready to walk to the outdoor location.

$10.00 pp via bank transfer or cash on the day.

Bring a yoga mat, light shawl or towel, water and remember sun protection.
