Nourishing yoga & food for busy lives
Always You Yoga and Relaxation has teamed up with The Green Gourmet to inspire you to pack simple yoga and mindfulness practices and deliciously nourishing food into your busy life wherever you are — no mat, mala beads or fancy kitchen equipment required!
Dawn teaches Dru Yoga, a gentle style of yoga for all ages and abilities that’s based on soft, flowing movements, directed breathing and visualisation.
Working on the body, mind and spirit, Dawn will help you to discover new yoga tips and tools that easily transport from your living room to the office or outdoors.
Yoga practices:
- breathwork for greater clarity, focus and drive
- mudra's (hand gestures) to increase energy, inner balance and harmony
- mindfulness practices to encourage calm and inner peace
- sequences to quickly ground and settle the physical and energy body, emotions and thoughts
- targeted postures to boost vitality, soothe bodily discomfort, aid digestion, release tension and promote restful sleep
- seated movements for the home or office (think neck, shoulders, wrists, spine and core stability)
- relaxations from both seated and lying positions
- quick and easy meditations for generating stillness, contentment, focus and mental quiet.
Andrea from The Green Gourmet will have you in the kitchen whipping up simple make-ahead portable meals and snacks to fuel your busy life.
From the kitchen:
- a welcome turmeric-ginger tea guaranteed to put a pep in your step
- an informative cooking class where you’ll learn to prepare the best make-ahead breakfasts, meal-in-a-jar and 5-minute energy bites
- eating your own creations for lunch
- learning how food can help you power through your workday as well as wind-down for more restful sleep.
You’ll leave with a new set of tools and recipes (and a little take-home treat!) to help you feel present, vibrant and energised throughout your day.
